SHOOT LOCATION: NYC
CASTING: Impossible Casting, NYC (SEE SITE IMPOSSIBLECASTING.COM)

DESCRIPTION: FINDING THE RIGHT FIT
Did you know that 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra? Finding the right fit can be the hardest part of shopping for a bra
and what looks good on a mannequin may not look as good on you! Why is it so difficult for women to find the right bra? Most women
have never had a professional fitting and fail to realize that a proper fit can make a huge difference in how they look and feel.
Unfortunately there are women out there who find the honest discussion of bra size to be an embarrassment. This needless embarrassment keeps these women from seeking the professional help they desperately need. Many of these women
silently suffer with pain and discomfort associated with wearing "the wrong bra". Common problems reported by women include: "Size Problems": lumps and or spilling, loose padding, or other size problems. "Structure Problems": Intrusive snaps, straps and under wires that leave lines or scratches. "Lift Problems":
bad lift results in an unflattering profile, excessive lift is a problem for those looking to minimize their profile. "Exposure Problems": associated with sheer clothes or strapless bras resulting in embarrassing slips "Functional Problems": forcing a bra to work with clothes the bra was not intended for i.e. using tape, safety pins etc.
Like women, no two bras are exactly alike. That's why the fitting experts at this major department store are looking for real women, 24 to 56, who personify beauty, poise and form but don't necessarily show it in their choice of bras. We'd like these women to share their real life stories with other women on the department stores website. Women of all shapes and sizes with a strong inner and outer beauty will be considered. Curves or no curves, all body types are welcome. Stories can be anecdotal, serious, funny, embarrassing as long as they are true and involve you wearing the wrong
kind of bra.
COMPENSATION: Get selected to tell us your story on the department store website and get $650 or equivalent department store gift Card!
TO SUBMIT: Please E-mail a picture of yourself.(headshots are OK but regular snap shots are also encouraged), how you heard about the casting and a
paragraph or so of your story to:
THERIGHTFIT@IMPOSSIBLECASTING.
PUT RIGHTFIT/YOUR NAME in SUBJECT LINE.
Interviews will be held in NYC ON FEB 1st and 2nd. Please be 100% honest!

Diary of a Teenage Girl – EPA’s – Monday 1/25
Diary of a Teenage Girl – EPA’s – Monday 1/25
Producer: Aaron Louis in association with The Essentials and New Georges
Seasonal Showcase $2,000 project stipend.
Stage Adaptation: Marielle Heller (based on the graphic novel by Phoebe Gloeckner)
Directors: Sarah Cameron Sunde and Rachel Eckerling
Casting: Paul Davis, Calleri Casting
1st rehearsal: February 15, 2010. Runs March 15 – April 12 at the 3LD Art & Technology Center.
Seeking (all roles available unless otherwise specified):
Monroe: Man, 40ish. A big child, Monroe is a product of the 70’s. Wandering in his life; drinks too much; wants more, but is stuck. Handsome and goofy at the same time. Tall. Can, at the turn of the dime, be adorable and then menacing. Very sexually attracted to Minnie, despite his age.
Charlotte: Woman, 40ish. Was quite a “piece” in her time. Has lived, and wears her experiences on her face. Still looks good, but won't in a few years. An alcoholic and a kind of swinger. Charlotte is the 1970’s. Neglectful of her daughters, but still warm. She is not a cliché, and has her vulnerable side too. Jealous of her 15-year-old daughter and constantly compares herself to her.
Kimmie: Girl, age 16 (seeking actress 18+). Advanced for her age. The friend who gets you into trouble. Farrah Fawcett hairdo ... wears tall platforms. One of those messed-up kids who manages to get straight A's.
Pascal: Man, 45. Nerdy, with a slightly sexy side. A know-it-all science guy, with a logic for everything. For most of the play he seems like he has potential parenting skills, and we need to believe he is good and safe. But his moral code is fuzzy. Sleeps with his daughter's best friend, and asks her not to get too puritanical about the whole thing. He's filled with hot air.
Minnie: CAST. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible replacements, should any become necessary. Girl, age 15 (to be played by an actress 18+). Our protagonist, and a very realistically depicted teenager, with all the confidence and insecurity that comes with that. The entire play functions as Minnie’s diary. The audience is in her head, and she is the conductor of the reality of the play. She's an artist, and is figuring out how to express herself. Open and raw inside, strong and articulate on the outside.
Equity Principal Auditions: Monday, January 25 from 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Lunch from 1 - 2.)
@
Roy Arias Studios
300 West 43rd Street, 6th Floor
Sides will be provided at the audition. Producers state that sides will also be available by 5 PM on January 22 at the following URL: http://www.

1st rehearsal: March 9, 2010. Runs: April 9 – May 9, 7 shows per week, Tue – Sun.
Performance Schedule: Tuesday evening, Wednesday matinee, Thursday evening, 2 shows Friday, Saturday evening, Sunday matinee.
In The Subject Was Roses, John and Nettie Cleary welcome their son home after World War II, eager to resume the old roles and routines—and the old battles and silences. Past mistakes and misunderstandings catch up with them at last and force all three to face the truth: there are some hurts that can be healed—and some that can’t.
Please note: the Pearl Theatre Company actively seeks ethnic diversity in the casting of all roles.
Seeking Timmy Cleary:
20s. Clean-cut, average WWII vet. The only child of John and Nettie Cleary, he returns from one war only to be trapped in the middle of another at home. Actor must be in good physical shape and able to appear "of the time" and capture the sense of the period (1946).

"ISAIAH'S DREAM - A PARADE OF POETS"
Seeking replacement for one of the actors in this 4-person ensemble play. "Isaiah's Dream" is the story of a Harlem boy who is visited by poets from around the world and throughout time. Through their poems, they help him find his own voice in a poem about Martin Luther King. Shows go to under-served audiences in senior centers, libraries, schools, and the like throughout the boroughs. This show is getting an overwhelming response and is practically booking itself. Bookings are sporadic but almost always during the day. When dates are requested, we check with cast & crew to be sure everyone can commit. Pay is $25/show. Non-traditional casting is practiced, so you can be any age, gender, size, or cultural background. You would be playing many wonderful poets in this heart-felt piece, where everyone is onstage throughout. There is choreographed movement and musical background. Right now, the next performance would be Feb 19 at 2:30 p.m. There is a lot of memorization involved and speech has to be very clear; facility for accents a plus but not required. If you are right for this, you would have to start working on it immediately. Rehearsals can be day or evening. For audition, send email with P/R ASAP to: Melba LaRose, Artistic Director --Melba@NYartists.org. Casting for the Long Island University CW Post thesis film “Follow.”
Casting for the Long Island University CW Post thesis film “Follow.”
Non-Union. Shooting March 5th-7th in Montgomery, New York. Producer: Daniel
Brady. Writer/Director: Brian DiLorenzo. Faculty Advisor: Susan Zeig. Format:
Sony HVX. Audition Dates: TBA. Callback Dates February 15. No pay rate, but
food expenses, as well as travel and any other will be provided for by
production. This is a student thesis film, written and directed by Brian
DiLorenzo. The story takes place mostly on a school bus and the theme is
religion. We will be filming on an actual school bus in upstate New York for a
long weekend, and the screenplay is pretty dialogue heavy. It's basically a
conversation between a Christian and an atheist teenager, which reveals deep,
painful truths about their own beliefs.
Seeking:
Samuel - 15-18. Caucasian. Samuel is a quiet, introspective teenager who
develops an infatuation with his next door neighbor, Natalie. Instead of
actually talking to her, he simply watches from afar, occasionally drawing her
in his notebook. He is deeply religious and follows the traditional
Catholic practices. Once his faith is questioned by Natalie, he is torn between
his desire for her and the comfort of his beliefs.
Natalie - 15-18. Caucasian. Natalie is an intelligent, self-assured,
cynical, teenage girl and the object of her neighbor’s desire. Her parents are
both atheists and she was raised to believe that this is no God and religion
is wrong. When she meets Samuel on the bus, she establishes a connection
with him, and starts to see things from a different point of view.
Please email the director at briandilorenzo@yahoo.com or send your resume
and headshot through the post office to: C.W. Post Campus, 720 Northern
Blvd, Greenvale N.Y. 11548, Kings Hall Box 1497. Please submit no later than
Feb. 25.

Seatfillers and More Looking for Drivers In Miami, Florida -Paid Positions
Hey Everyone,
I am looking for experienced drivers in Miami, Florida that would be
interested in a temporary job driving a 15 passenger van for an upcoming
event we have in that area.
If you have experience driving a large van like this and are available for
work starting as early as Feb 1st till as late as Feb 7th. If you are
available anytime during this duration, then we would like to hear from
you. You must be available to work all day on Feb 5th and Feb 6th, as
these are 2 of our busiest days. The remainder of the days we can work
with you and your schedule.
We will have morning, afternoon and evening shifts available, but it does
depend on our show schedule and what our needs will be.
You will be responsible for picking up people from the airport and
delivering them to their respective hotels. If you have a GPS unit of your
own, that will be helpful, but not necessary as we will provide directions
to the hotels that we will be using.
You will also be bringing people from their hotels to our venue for
rehearsals and the actual show. A lot of your time will be spend in your
vans, so you will have a lot of free or down time so its really not a lot
of work other then driving all the time.
You will be expected to work up to a 12 hour day, but most days will
honestly consist of 8-10 hours.
The rate will be $150.00 per day for each day worked and you will be paid
via a check just like a normal job.
If you are interested in this opportunity and you live in or around the
Miami area then please contact me directly with the following information.
1. Your full name
2. Your date of birth
3. Your phone number
4. Your availability for each day starting with Feb 1st and ending with
Feb 7th. Please tell me from what hour to what hour you would be available
to work each day.
5. Please tell me what experience you have when it comes to driving, past
jobs, etc.
We are looking for men and women so please send this info to me
immediately as I am hiring now, to Admin@seatfillersandmore.com. I will
get back to you as soon as I can to discuss this opportunity with you. If
you are not in the area, but know someone that is and may be interested,
please feel free to forward this on to them.
Thanks and see you at the show,
Ted Absher

UPCOMING PRODUCTION
WANTED
2 MALE ACTORS
FOR OUR UPCOMING PRODUCTION
OF RECLAIM THE GODDESS WITHIN
TO DEBUT IN RI MAY 21, 22, 23 OF 2010
For auditions ASAP:
Cell# 401-457-5659 email miladysleblanc712@cox.net
My name is Miladys Le blanc co~founder of the Goddess Coyle Bellydance Troupe of
RI. This is our second time around putting forth this great ensemble. It is a
poweful and innovative play. The potential and possibilities are endless with
this one. As you well know, this comes with a lot of responsibility, discipline
and integrity to stay true to its vision. I am of deep interest in locating 2
male actors who are ready to sink their teeth in and bite the bullet. Over the
past few months it has been challenging to find committed individuals to play
these 2 wonderful characters who can really take flight with the right person to
give it life. I am a novice at this but I feel deeply in my heart that I have
struck gold. I am very determined and open to be directed in the right
direction. I appreciate your time.
BRIEF OVERVIEW OF PLAY
Reclaim the Goddess Within is a tale spun out of the love of the art of belly
dance and the demise and evolution of the Goddess. Depicted in Minoan Crete
1325 BC, during the height of her worship, until the invasion of nomadic
European warriors from the north. They brought monotheism of the one male sky
God as well as the alphabet that prompted the destruction of this earth centered
religion. As ages past brings us forth from the vivid images of the priestesses
worshiping in the temple to these modern times of chaos; we see her resurrected
over time by many names and by many faces. Of course we have a modern twist to
this play.
QUALIFICATIONS:
~MUST BE WITHIN THE AGE BRACKET OF 25-55
(flexible w/ age if character resonates w/ you)
~OPEN MINDED, FLEXIBLE AND RECEPTIVE TO AN ALL FEMALE CAST

Collaborative Stages is holding auditions for Somewhere in Between – World Premiere Production.
Written by Ryan Sprague.
Artistic Director: Brian Letchworth.
Executive Director/Producer: Sarah Jane Arnegger.
Synopsis: Following the death of their mother, two estranged brothers reunite with a plan to move forward. But when a secret from the past emerges, their inability to assess reality provides a glimpse of what may truly be hell on Earth.
Rehearsals begin Saturday, February 13, 2010.
Rehearses evenings and weekends in Manhattan.
Runs March 11-21, 2010 for 11 performances at the 78th Street Theatre Lab.
Non-Equity/No Pay
Seeking highly versatile and trained actors for the following roles:
Joshua – Male - Mid to Late 20s: Intelligent and thoughtful, yet introverted and private. A writer of inspirational books for the religiously inclined. He is devoutly Catholic, though his allegiance to the faith is built upon shame and fear. He is married and wants to be thoroughly settled into life. He is generally uptight and difficult to crack. He avoids conflict and is always aware of the quickest exit in the event something goes wrong. Joshua always seems to be carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders, much to the dismay of his wife and brother. He has a guilty conscience and wants to do by right by everyone who comes his way.
Greg – Male - Early to Mid 20s: Joshua's younger brother. Complete opposite of Joshua. Plays the part of a trouble maker well, but he is actually very kind and extremely generous. He does have "big kid" tendencies with a propensity for cracking jokes and generally disrupting the peace. However, he is very much the smartest person in the room – the only one with the courage to tell things as they are. Looks up to Joshua. Greg is socially promiscuous, but we get the sense that he probably doesn't have many friends. Spent much of his childhood in juvenile detention and boarding schools. An amateur photographer. He is humorously cocky and arrogant.
Lissa – Female - Mid to Late 20s: Joshua's wife. A professional volunteer, Lissa thinks her purpose in life is to help others. Rigid and virtuous, she believes in God's plan. Straightforward and conservative. Often comes across as a bitch. When she steps off her high horse, she is quite vulnerable and, for lack of a better word, human: prone to mistakes and mix-ups. She is attractive, but extremely modest. She is looking for direction and guidance.
Please only submit if you feel you are truly "right" for one of the roles listed. Auditions will be held by appointment ONLY on Thursday, January 21 from 6:00-10:00. Please prepare a contemporary monologue no longer than two (2) minutes in length. Be prepared to read from the script. Callbacks will be held on Sunday, January 24.
