AUDITIONS ANNOUNCED FOR AMHERST PTA PRODUCTION OF CHILDREN OF EDEN
The Amherst PTA has announced that auditions for its 58th annual play, Children of Eden will be held Sunday, January 10th from 1 -3pm and Tuesday, January 12 from 6–8pm both at Clark School, Foundry Street in Amherst.

This musical version of the story of creation spanning 1000 years from Adam and Eve through Noah and his family surviving the flood provides a wonderful opportunity for families to participate together in this production. We will be looking for talented individuals, 4th grade and up.
An information sheet is posted on the PTA play website for character information and vocal ranges (www.amherstpta.org/play) . Please come prepared to sing and dance. Those auditioning will be taught a brief dance. Please bring clean, comfortable shoes. Sheet music is requested.

Those who would like to be considered for a major role are encouraged to sing a number from the show, or another Stephen Schwartz show such as Godspell, Wicked, Pippin and Working. CD's of Children of Eden are available from Amazon. Casting will be posted on Wednesday, January13th with first rehearsal on Thursday, January 14th.
The Amherst PTA has not pre-cast any roles for this show. Preference will be given to residents of Amherst and Mont Vernon if all talents and abilities are equal.
