Actors Wanted for Short Flim
(No Experience Necessary)

Brooklyn Young Flimmakers is producing " THE GIRL IN THE MIRROR " the story of 17 year old Victoria , a shy, self-destructive Dominician American high school track star
who is in a competitive slump and frightened about her future.

We will be shooting this low-budget short flim at a Fort Greene location during the weekend of January 29-31. Primary rehearsals and production meetings will be held on the weekday evenings. Our intergenerational production team will be made up of BYFC students from our "MAKE A FLIM " class ( where the script was developed) , emerging flimmakers, and community members - maybe you.

Seeking:

FEMALE /17 YRS -AFRICAN AMERICAN
Angeline: Victoria's best friend , intelligent and ambitious with a quick tongue, but also loyal and vunerable. Of African Caribbean decent , she dreams of traveling but for now is just trying to survive family problems.

MALE /18 YRS -CAUCASIAN
Shawn: Attractive track star, who is flirtatious and has a dark side.

FEMALE / 13 YRS -DOMINICAN AMERICAN
Young Victoria : shy , heavy set , given to fits of anger when she is laughed at.
