New post for table reading by Chris Ferretti

The Session - a new play by Chris Ferretti
A Dark Comedy in One Act

T A B L E R E A D I N G

Seeking the following for a preliminary table-reading in front of small
audience and select industry members at beautiful Mid-town location.

No pay but, all readers will have the chance to be in front of industry and
considered for their roles once the project is fully produced and underway.

Great way to be seen by a new playwright and select members of the theatre
and entertainment community.

Okay to apply if you're Non-Union but please, veteran readers only. We don't
just need people to read the script...we need people who can really make
make the words jump off the page and come to life.

Seeking the following:

VINCENZO: Caucasian / Italian - Age range: 30-35. Really looking for some
great character actors here. Broad shouldered and clean shaven, we see a
very handsome and put together man of thirty something with sprinkles of
gray hair that seem to have come more from stress than age. He is a somewhat
high ranking member of an organized crime family in New Jersey, and although
he has more money than he knows what to do with, his face is weathered and
tells the Story of a man who has lived a life of great hardship and
difficult decisions. Think the personality of Joe Pesci in Goodfellas...but,
on a *really* bad day.

PATTI: Caucasian / Italian - Vincenzo’s mother. Age range: 60s. Capable of
deep love and profound rage almost simultaneously. She is small in size but,
packs quite a punch. With gold & white hair and dark sunglasses, she walks
around as if the world owes her something and if there was one word to
describe her it would be: entitled. She takes any criticism and difference
of opinion as a personal attack. Think the personality of Sharon Stone's
character in Casino.

SILVIA: Caucasian (anything but Italian looking). Age Range: late 30s- early
40s. Administrative yet stunning. A recent board certified Psychologist, she
is still new to the field and perhaps a bit naive, but what she lacks in
experience she more than makes up for in her sincere desire to help people.

NORMAN: Looking for some real interesting character types. Think the
personality of and look of Felix Unger from the Odd Couple or Tony Shalhoub
in Monk. Annoying and needy.

Table Reading: will be finalized within the next 3 weeks.

If interested please email Headshot and Resume to Chris @
JerseyFerretti@gmail.com

In the SUBJECT please put and the role you're submitting for.

Auditions will be by appointment only.

Sides will be provided @ the audition.

Looking forward to seeing your work.
