Actors needed for statewide event "To Kill A Mockingbird"

In March NH is participating in "The Big Read" a National Endowment for the Humanities program where people throughout a state read the same book. This year's book is "To Kill A Mockingbird" and there will be events throughout the state celebrating the themes of the book. As a kickoff event, the NH Center for the Book wants to stage the famous courtroom scene at a real courthouse in Concord in late February or early March, the date is not yet set. There may also be a couple of other performances at libraries in the state.
Actors are needed to play Atticus Finch, the prosecutor, judge, sheriff, father of the "victim" the victim (19 year old girl) and the accused, Tom Robinson. Southern accents are needed for the characters.
Rehearsals will be held at the Rodgers Memorial Library in Hudson, NH schedule will be flexible. Interested actors should contact Amy Friedman at 603-886-6030 between 1-5 Monday - Friday or email amyfriedman@rodgerslibrary.org.
