ActorsFirstNY - Non- Equity Auditions January 7th, 8th, and 9th.

For a Columbia Thesis production of Jean Genet's The Screens directed by Kathryn Hamilton.

We are looking for actors, dancers, musicians and artists willing to be engaged in every aspect of the collaborative process, from researching the play and its background to improvisation around this material. The company will train together on a regular basis leading up to the performance.

Actors with a dance, or strong physical background are encouraged to apply.

The production will take place in the first week of March, and rehearsals will begin mid-January.

Auditions will be non-traditional. People will be asked to audition in groups and to create work, improvised and text based, during the audition.

These slots are open for the auditions-
Jan 7th:
slot a – 4pm
slot b – 5.30pm
slot c – 7pm

Jan 8th:
slot a - 6pm
slot b - 7.30pm
slot c - 9pm

Jan 9th:
slot a - 4pm
slot b - 6pm
slot c - 8pm
slot d - 9.30pm
